We package these sets extremely carefully and they are delivered with care. Each buttonhole is secured with ribbon into the box and sits on delicate tissue paper. Some reasonable shedding is to be expected as this is a dried natural product.
When you receive these buttonholes store them carefully in the box provided in a dry, cool location.
