There’s so much to say about this gorgeous May wedding! I worked with Charlotte and Oly for over a year planning their perfect day. As founders and creatives behind apparel clothing brand Wolf Academy https://www.wolfeacademy.co.uk
they both had a clear vision for their wedding flower theme and an excellent understanding of the colourway. It was ajoy to bring this vision to life for them!
For the Bridal Party
For the bridal party blooms we embraced luxury David Austin
Wedding roses using Purity as centre stage. The scent was out of this world! Framing these beauties were seasonal stocks, phlox and the subtle threads of chamaulacian (wax flower) a wonderful
alternative to gypsophila. We also used this for her flower crown, one of my all-time favourite ever makes! We wire our crowns carefully to ensure they last. Charlotte rocked this all day.
For the Dinky Dots
Providing the right options for younger members of the bridal party crew is vital. For this scheme we opted for wands with beautiful trailing threads. Other alternatives would be a smaller bouquet and fuller flower crowns. Tiny hands love to wave these wands around and spread their ethereal fairy like joy.
The Girl Squad
Subtle and wonderfully scented bridesmaid bouquets. We picked out a few key blooms and this effectively framed the luxury of Charlottes bouquet. All pictures were taken by Stuart Dudleston
Venue Decor
A naturalistic backdrop of foliage framed the reception space at Chalk Barn. It’s such a beautifully finished venue that simplicity carries through well and allows the space to photograph to its maximum potential. We used seasonal foliage throughout the space including olive leaf, ferns, eucalyptus and ruscus threads.
